Very moisturizing and makes my skin soft. It absorbs nicely. The scent is very light and it’s easy to use and travel with. The ingredients are impressive. I appreciate that it contains organic ingredients. My only complaint is that it’s a bit on the pricey side. While I like it I’m not likely to reorder.
This balm has a nice texture and works well, even on really dry skin. I also like that the container has a lot of the balm in it, so it will last a long time. However, I am not a fan of the smell, which is really strong and doesn't smell good (in my opinion). Due to the strong smell, I only use it on really dry areas like my ankles, heels, and elbows, which keeps me from smelling it too strongly. So I like how well this balm works, but I wish it were unscented.
If you are familiar with the smell of frankincense, this balm will satisfy your cravings for it. It is effective at creating a strong fragrance of it. I almost want to say it reeks of it but it sounds bad, but I mean it only in the most complimentary way.I have been using it for a burn I had with hot oil. The skin blistered up and struggled staying hydrated. Using this balm I was able to sooth the skin and keep it supple and soft. I highly recommend this product!

I grabbed this balm excited to treat myself after long days on my feet, hoping the mix of frankincense, helichrysum, and arnica would give me that soothing ahhh moment. The scent is herbal and pleasant, not overpowering, spreads smooth leaving my hands and feet feeling soft and moisturized. The double walled jar feels flimsy, almost like the product is top heavy. The balm is very thick though.I really wanted it to work like a little magic potion for my tired muscles and joints. I was hoping to feel some actual pain relief, especially on my heels and knotted shoulders. But while my skin definitely feels nourished, the pain relief part has not been a little underwhlming. It’s more of a hydrating than a therapeutic balm.

I have been hearing about the benefits of using frankincense, so I thought I would give this a try.Looking at the ingredient list, boswellia oil (frankincense) is the last ingredient listed, the rest is a mix of more common butters and oils, seeds and flower extracts.The consistency is similar to most balms, it applies a bit greasy at first but that doesn't last as it absorbs into the skin.You get 1.76 oz (50 g) of product, which arrives in a convenient, safety sealed, capped plastic jar. Some of the pictures make the jar appear larger than it is, though the ounces are shown accurately on the description and in the photos.It arrived quickly. However when described as "Frankincense Balm", and having it be the last ingredient listed, I'm thinking that's a bit misleading. More like "Seed Butters, Oils, with Frankincense" might be more appropriate.
I ordered this balm for general relief of muscle discomfort. What attracted me are several of it’s powerful ingredients, especially arnica & frankincense. I found the formulation to be lacking in spreadability. I prefer a balm for spot treatments after workouts, but this one is too dry & I found it better to use with a carrier oil. It’s my feeling that the effort to use a product that’s so difficult to distribute, when I can substitute it entirely with different one that’s ready to go right from the start, makes this just not worth the effort. It has little to no scent, disappointing given the botanicals inside the balm. It didn’t absorb well into my dry skin, instead, the balm remained slick & sticky.Packed into an oversized, double walled, screw top plastic jar. I appreciate the effort made to keep the product fresh. It holds 50g/1.76 oz. The label and product listing doesn’t have a non-GMO or sourcing statement with regard to the botanicals, anti-cruelty statement or cGMP stamp about manufacturing facilities. No shelf life listed. The first thing I noticed about this balm is the texture. It’s very thick like a solid (not a lotion or cream), so you kind of have to scoop it out, but as soon as it warms up on your skin, it melts in nicely without feeling too greasy. As far as the scent goes, the frankincense aroma seems very subtle. Other scents seem to overshadow it, but I love that the ingredient list is natural, unlike creams and lotions you buy in traditional stores that are filled with lots of chemicals in addition to any “good” ingredients. I would say that the price is a good deal for a natural product like this.Overall, I’m happy with it and will keep using it, especially for dry winter skin. I got it mostly for the dry skin so am unsure if the product is effective for pain relief.
This balm is very moisturizing. In terms of the joint/muscle discomfort relief element, I did not experience any noticeable difference after using. The ingredients listed are purportedly beneficial to skin wellness and have potential healing benefits. Love the frankincense scent. The balm seems to be much more hydrating than lotion without leaving a greasy residue. I was unable to locate a company website for this business, VeraNua. They seem to have filed for an LLC in May 2025, so it appears to be a recently formed company. Unfortunately without being able to confirm the quality and manufacturing standards, I don’t have a lot of consumer confidence in this product. Otherwise this does seem to be a nice product, but I wouldn’t likely order it again as I like to be assured of the contents of products I use on my skin. I did not experience any negative side effects from applying this balm.

Good smelling frankincense that smells authentic and has shea butter and other awesome skin care products to make this a wholesome good product. Spreads on easily and doesn't irritate my skin but provide a smooth coverage.

This really is a balm, not a cream, and certainly not a lotion. It's quite solid, so you need something to scoop it out with, even if it's just your fingernail, but once it gets rubbed into your skin it quickly liquefies and mostly soaks in. I find that on me it initially absorbs partially but not entirely, leaving the skin slightly slick, but also incredibly soft and moisturized. If you wait a little while it does absorb more fully.It makes sense that this balm is a solid, because its first ingredient is shea butter, which when unadulterated is also completely solid. That's really what I love about this product, there is not one single artificial ingredient or chemical in it, every single ingredient is natural, healthy, and the majority of them are even organic. Wonderful! I also really like the delicate scent added to it with the frankincense, which in itself is a distinct but not cloying fragrance.I'm very picky about what I put in or on my body, but I feel absolutely safe with this. Would absolutely recommend.
